The corner of Plaza Lesseps is a transition space stressed between Plaza Lesseps and Ronda del Mig. The proposal intends to recover the two blind planes that make up the lot, both the vertical and the horizontal ones, turning this transition space into a large theatrical stage. We propose the placement of a poplars field which gives the passer-by the feeling of crossing a forest making a mental healing space out of it, a place to stand. Poplars are interpreted as pillars of a building without flooring that maintains alignment to facade but in a light way, with no physical weight and able due to their height to minimize the discontinuity of the square's skyline.
It is proposed the placement of circular benches around the trunks where indirect lighting is located with LEDs along the tiled pavement. In turn, the party wall, the backdrop of the stage, is coated with a reflective treatment that gives depth to the poplar grove.
