SIGNES

Design project that begins with the new logo of the L1 line of Palma's Metro. The underground's logo takes as its starting point the typical diamond-shaped logo that everyone associate with the access to this infrastructure, which another small diamond is subtracted from on the top. Generating thereby forms that remind us of the Sierra de Tramuntana, or the initial of Mallorca, and other sensitive connotations, which could be the shape of a heart, a flower, or lips ...

From this point it is intended to give an answer to the lack of corporative image with the writing of a style book that marks a family of fitting graphic elements. We study in depth the signage of the stations from the point of view of the routes and circulation of users to solve problems that the design of the stations did not solve. All this within a common formal framework for the entire network.

It is also presented the plot of the trains as well as workers' uniforms, and all the things that could make the public understand the image unity of the company.
