The project proposes a walk through the squares, by the complete pedestrianization of the area; it seeks to recover the ancient runoff collection creating a channel where stormwater drainage from different squares on the same path.
The proposal is located at the end of the runoff, collecting all water in the squares and leading them through the channel. The proposed formal generation, both public squares and the buildings, is through the overlay of the old parcel, with the intention that the project's scale fits its environment. The proposal creates public spaces as rectangular squares ordering the buildings. Their concatenation gives the old character and continuity to their environment. The perception of public space is more complex than its formalization due to the unfolding of the facades of buildings creating spaces in shade beside the squares. The entire building is generated through a 5x5 grid which resolves the parking and the proposal gives the possibility to adapt its use to other activities over time, it could be transformed into studios, office, home or even exhibition galleries. There's a public building located in the main square of the proposal that resolves the back of the buildings in Doña Consuelo Torres street, generating a patio with them.
