Multi-family apartment homes (with party walls) are designed for medium and high-density urban environments. These buildings can either be totally modular or mixed. The number and types of layout are variable and can be completely adapted to programme requirements.

In this case a mixed multi-family apartment building is shown, that is, a building with vertical and horizontal communication (stairs, lift and corridor) built using tradition construction methods, while the dwellings themselves use the modular system.

The building shown has its main entrance on the corner of the block and two shops on the ground floor. The stair and lift are made of concrete and contribute to the stability of the building, while the dwellings are wholly built using the Kumo system. One of the advantages of this system as seen in this building is the freedom to vary the layout on different floors. The first floor has two flats with one and two bedrooms respectively, but both with kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom and terrace. On the second floor there are 3 housing units; two basic units with one double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. The other unit has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living room-dining room. On the third floor is one single flat with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a study, dining room, kitchen, spacious living room, games room and terrace. On the top floor there are two units, with two and three bedrooms respectively, both with bathroom, kitchen, dining room and living room.
